The Public Health Ministry has joined hands with hoteliers to offer the paid-accommodation alternative as Thailand opens its borders to the first batch of foreign arrivals this month. Initially just over 1,000 rooms will be available, though alternative quarantine will be expanded to meet growing demand. Prices for the 14-day quarantine range from about Bt32,000 (Qui Hotel) to Bt144,000 (Anantara Siam).
All the alternative quarantine hotels are located in and around Bangkok, with the exception of one in Buri Ram:
